Code 128 Code Set A

Code 128 barcodes can be one of three varieties. One is Code 128 code set A. The difference between the three code sets is the character set that they can encode. In other words, each of the Code 128 barcode code sets can represent different types of data.

Code set A Code 128 barcodes can be recognized by their unique start bar.

Code 128 code set A barcodes are alphanumic but only include the uppercase letters. On the other hand, code set A barcodes include a large number of control characters.
